Cheryl D'Ambrosio, Founder
Awareness of girls and women with bleeding disorders
Our Team

Cheryl D'Ambrosio is the Founder of MyGirlsBlood. She has two step-daughters with severe factor V deficiency ages 27 and 30.
She has a bachelors degree in business from the University of Washington and a Masters Degree in information systems management from City University of Seattle.

She has published her family's experiences in a book entitled, Pooling Blood, [iUniverse 2010 (available on Amazon.com and Barnes Noble sites)]. 

Cheryl will co-present with Dr. Art Thompson, a poster entitled:  Achieving more Rapid Treatment through a High Trust Network, at the 2010 Hemophilia World Congress in Buenos Aires in July, 2010.

An article in Volume 20, May 2010 Parents Empowerment Newsletter (PEN), by L A Kelley Communications, Inc. provided some insight about Cheryl and her book Pooling Blood. The article: ==>Girls with Bleeding Disorders: Building a History.

Cheryl has been employed by the Boeing Company for 25 years as a process developer and project manager. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, Tony.




CG is the Director and Secretary for MyGirlsBlood. She is in the process of writing several books. She has provided editorial services for projects within the legal and medical communities.
 



Our Contest Support Team - our judges are selected by the Founder and are volunteers outside of the bleeding community.  They are rotated periodically and are anonymous.
